about footloose community arts

footloose community arts was founded in 2000, and draws on the skills of different artists from London, Oxford and other parts of the country. Our work uses improvisation techniques as a means of bringing people together, to discover or affirm their innate creativity and share ideas and inspiration. We believe that everyone is a potential artist, and try to give people the opportunity to realise that, whatever their age or background. We work in all kinds of situations such as schools, community groups, rural and urban areas. We attempt to contribute to sustainable living both by the themes we choose and our working process, using recycled materials, often working out of doors. We are always open to new ideas and collaborations.
